The Final Return

Chanoch does not need to descend as Metatron for Chanoch to return.

His return occurs whenever a human being learns the architecture of transparent service.

Whenever authority becomes stewardship, Chanoch returns.

Whenever an intelligent person becomes more humble because of what he knows rather than more inflated, Chanoch returns.

Whenever a teacher truly receives the student while teaching, Chanoch returns.

Whenever speech becomes answer rather than domination, Chanoch returns.

Whenever technology becomes a servant of human dignity instead of a throne demanding allegiance, Chanoch returns.

Whenever a home receives the chaos of life and turns it into warmth, covenant and kedushah, Chanoch returns.

Whenever someone discovers that receptivity is not weakness but the beginning of transformation, Chanoch returns.

Whenever a person feels spiritually elevated and responds by becoming more faithful to ordinary mitzvos, Chanoch returns.

Whenever someone carries a gift and remembers it is a gift, Chanoch returns.

Whenever a human being walks with G-d instead of trying to become G-d, Chanoch returns.

That is how the ancient man comes down.

Not by undoing his ascent.

By completing its circuit.
